I believe in being the change we want to see in the world. In an era where professionals and educated people refrain from entering into active politics, I’ve taken a bold stand as a woman, a mother, and a lawyer to enter into active politics and represent my city, Moratuwa as a municipal council member and an active social activist.

I intend to represent the oppressed women in our society and country as a whole. My vision is to contribute my knowledge and skills in building a Sri Lanka where all nationalities can live in harmony. I’m constantly striving towards social justice, women empowerment, and inclusion in decision making.
